José Manuel Palau Navarro

Bio

José Manuel is a Public Law and Regulatory partner at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

He specialises in administrative law and urban planning.

He holds a degree and doctorate in Law from the University of Valencia and a degree in Political Science from the UNED. He also holds a diploma in Urban Management from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.

He has been Director of Valencia CF, General Administrative Secretary of the Department of Infrastructure and Transport and Head of the Territorial Service of Urban Planning of Valencia of the Generalitat Valenciana. He is currently a civil servant on leave with national habilitation (Secretary of the City Council), as TAG and as a Technician of the Generalitat.

José Manuel is recognised in prestigious legal directories such as Chambers and Partners and Legal500 as one of the leading professionals in the areas of Planning and Public Law.

He is the author of several articles and books, mainly related to urban planning issues and is a regular lecturer on topics related to urban planning, at the Institute of Architects, Civil Engineers and various Universities.
