Jorge Martín

Bio

Jorge is a Corporate M&A of counsel of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and co-head of the private equity team.

Jorge specialises in domestic and international M&A and private equity practice with particular dedication to management, leveraged buyouts and infrastructure transactions. He has been involved in some of the most relevant M&A transactions in Spain. He has significant experience in private equity, infra, TMT and energy sectors.

He holds a law degree and business administration degree from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) and in 2021 was admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales.

Jorge is an associated professor of M&A and Capital Markets in the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and is ranked in Spain by Chambers as “Associate to watch” in Corporate/M&A: High-end Capability and Legal 500 as “Rising start” in Private Equity.

Furthermore, he is an author or co-author of several specialised publications.
