David González Gálvez

Bio

David is a Corporate and M&A partner at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, private equity and venture capital, particularly advising investors and high-growth companies.

He holds a degree in Law and a diploma in Business Law from ICADE and completed his doctorate studies in Civil Law – Diploma de Estudios Avanzados – at the Complutense University of Madrid. In addition, he has completed postgraduate studies at IE, the Center for American and International Law (Dallas) and Fordham University (New York).

He completed a secondment at the energy group Unión Fenosa – currently Naturgy – as an external advisor in the restructuring of its international business and worked in the international private banking division of Banco Santander in Geneva. He also worked at Pinhero Neto Advogados as a foreign associate in its Sao Paulo office.

David is recognised in the prestigious legal directories Chambers and Partners and Legal500 as one of the market leaders in the areas of Private Equity and Venture Capital.

He has participated as author and coauthor in several specialised legal publications.
