Bio

Cláudia is the Head lawyer of the Industrial and Intellectual Property and Technology Area at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo in Portugal.

She specialises in Industrial and Intellectual Property and related fields of practice, such as advertising, unfair competition, image rights, e-commerce, and technology, and has been advising and representing clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

She holds a Law degree from Universidade de Lisboa, a postgraduate Diploma (PgD) in Commercial Law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, an LL.M. in IP and Competition Law from Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (an academic center jointly run by the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, the University of Augsburg, the Technical University of Munich, and The George Washington University) and an executive certificate on Law, Policy and Technology from IE Law School. Cláudia also attended the sessions of the 3rd Post graduated Course in Intellectual Law from Associação Portuguesa de Direito Intelectual and Universidade de Lisboa.

Cláudia has been recognised in prestigious legal directories such as Legal 500 and WTR 1000 – The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals as one of the leading professionals in Intellectual Property.
